A lovely welcoming villa holiday rental located in a quiet Cul de Sac in the very popular Dunas Douradas. The villa has 4 plus 1 bedrooms. Villa Lydai is nestled between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.

The Interior:

Villa Lydia is also on one level with a rooftop terrace. The property is nicely decorated with an open-plan setting, comprising a lounge, a dining area, a kitchen, and WCs. The living area also has direct access to the poolside terrace. There are 2 ensuite bedrooms and 2 further bedrooms that share a bathroom. In total, there are 2 doubles with ensuites, one with a bath and shower and the other is an shower ensuite. The 2 twin bedrooms share a shower bathroom, and a guest room with a sofa bed ensuite shower which is ideal for small children or a teen.

Any of the twin bedrooms can also be made up as a double by request in advance of travel. All bathrooms have showers.

The Exterior:

Upstairs is a large rooftop terrace which is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and a book. As well as a lounge area here, there is also a large BQ and dining area that seats up to 10.

Outside you will find an inviting poolside terrace that is surrounded by plenty of sun loungers to relax on after a leisurely swim. Also on the terrace, there is a lovely lounge area, table tennis, and table football.

The Location:

This villa rental has access to the resort facilities that are by Xenia restaurant (only a few minutes walk away). Facilities include a Roman-style swimming pool for adults and children (free access), Xénia Restaurant, pool bar, mini market, and Aesthetic center (subject to availability and appointment). You can book the tennis court at reception. (this has an additional charge of €20 per hour and is subject to availability).

Within a 15-minute walk, you can be at the beach and Maria's beachside restaurant. A 20-minute walk away is ‘Julias’ beach, where you will find some fantastic beachside restaurants and bars. Within a few minute's drive, there are lots of other restaurants, bars, activities, and amenities for you to choose from. All in all a great location.

Property Rules

Strictly no smoking and no pets / No groups of young adults under 25 permitted / We do try to keep the photographs and descriptions up to date, however, furnishings, the layout and décor can sometimes change before information is updated here. The information provided is a guideline only./ On Public holidays there is no maid service. Please note, when booking pool heating the water temperature is dependent on the weather. This pool doesn’t have a pool cover which will affect maintaining the heat in the pool, especially if the weather is windy, raining and/or the evenings are colder. We cannot guarantee the temperature of the water and it will generally only stay a few degrees above the outside temperature.

From 01 November 2024 a Mandatory tourist tax is charged to guests by the local council and must be paid before entry into Portugal. For arrivals between the 01 April – 31 October the charge is €10 per person and from 01 November – 31 March the charge is €5 per person. The charge is for each person 16 years and older at the time of travel and is due 10 weeks before arrival along with the balance payment for your holiday.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations made more than 70 days prior to departure, only the deposit will be retained. / Between 56 – 69 days prior to departure, 50% of your holiday cost will be retained. / Between 48 – 55 days prior to your departure, 75% of your holiday cost will be retained. / Between 15 – 47 days prior to departure, 95% of your holiday cost will be retained. / Between 0 – 14 days prior to departure, 100% of your holiday cost is forfeited.
